Water Cooling With Deionized Water?¿

Water Cooling With Deionized Water?¿|||
i was reading on fluid xp and found out that deionized water is basicly no conductive but will it work right in a water cooled system???
the instant that water makes contact with ANYTHING i mean ANYTHING#33; Including air it will become contaminated with conductive particles. Yes it will work in a WC setup, but don#39;t count on it not destroying ur parts if theres a leak. Either way, its still safer than using normal water.
Theoretically de-ionized water would work, but unfortuneatly it#39;s a great home for algae, and I#39;d bet that adding anything to it would make it conductive. Plus, you#39;d probably have to add an anti corrosion fluid, which would make it incredibly conductive. I use Fluid XP+, and it works fine.

a mixture of deionised (or distilled) water, with an additive like Redline water wetter to prevent corrosion and algae growth is your best bet...also, don#39;t let water leak in the first place...

i know what your sayin hardnrg but what happens if it dose you lose all you gear that you spent so mutch money on heres the deal tho ive read a bunch of reviews on fluid xp and half say it realy works and its non conductive and half say i dosnt work but its good for its life span and when i saw microSiemans of deionized water i thought wow and its cheaper thin fluid xp so i hear today asking for users experence and want to know what would be best and if fluid xp is as good as there site says it isthanx for the feed back

fair enough, like a kinda of safety net, i getcha... i#39;d still be hardcore and use water and additive... heh heh, i#39;d just make sure the clamps were on right...
Who need#39;s clamps when you#39;ve got zip-ties? And I would just stick with distilled water and some water wetter.
i#39;d have to kick my own arse if i put zip-ties on my tubing/barbs... cos when it came to taking them off... man, how annoying...
what about flourinert? that#39;s nonconductive, expensive but safe enough to completely submerge your mobo in it with no ill effects
if you#39;ve got money to burn then yeah, why not... probably sucks at cooling though...
whats flourinert???hardnrg will ducting improve cooling on a radiator??
Flourinert is an incredibly expensive (~#036;300 per gallon) coolant that is truly non-conductive, but it evaporates like crazy. FYI, it#39;s made by 3M.
